west coast

My first trip to the west coast was absolutely gorgeous! I cannot wait to go back.  We went with paul's family.  it was so great!  here are some pictures.  hopefully this will talk you into coming to visit.

we hiked to the heceta head light house

paul thought this tree was really awesome.

and as the fog started to roll in, i got my 1st glimpse of the pacific ocean!

'For I am the LORD your God,
   who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar—

we had the whole light house area to ourselves, but it started to drizzle a little as you can see in the pic above.

glad i wasn't out to sea with all that fog!

the hike back up from the beach... i liked this little walkway.
